I just joined a design-competition for a christmas-card for ELLE. Unfortunately I did not win, but I still like it. Here you can see the front and the back.
You can order cards from the site and send your family and friends nice messages. But with these cards you will do more. You will also contribute for War Child!!!

Sweet fairy Booo

A little fairy with a lot of spots..

Utrecht...the place to have a nice cup of tea with sweets

A little while ago, I went shopping with my good friend Genevieve. We spend all day in Utrecht, a very nice city in the middle of the Netherlands. We saw a lot of stores and shops with clothes and shoes. But after a while, we wanted to have a little drink.
We bumped into a very cute and pretty shop called de Bakkerswinkel. On the road site there is the entrance, a tiny store with a small counter, where you can buy bread and sweets and have a drink. It looks very lovely and cosy, like you have stepped back in time.
At first, it looks like it is the intire store, but there is more than the eye can see!
There is a wooden stairs with goes down and there you can see more lovely dressed tables with fresh flowers.
So if you ever go to Utrecht definitely go there! Have a nice cup of coffee or tea with a perfect piece of pie and have a marvellous time...

This week I have finished a big assignment. Pffff.... So that is why I wanted to make something completely different. Something fun, happy. Something that could make you laugh! So I hope you are laughing now. Aaah, there is a little grin... Now you make me happy!

This is my latest work.  In real you have to see them next to each other.

I wanted to make fall, but in a differend way.

Forgotten peach...

All of a sudden, to old, to wrinkly, not tasty anymore...last pick...forgotten.

But... nicly placed on a beautifull blow and the center of attention.

Rich of warme colours, a touch of soft yellows and strong reds catch my eyes.

A funny structure, different from all others.

So...quite lovely, I'd say.

Lisa and the Lion

My first blog was a image of the book Lisa and the Lion.

On a nice day, Lisa is playing in the garden.

With dad and mom.

Suddenly she hears a roar! Grrrrrrrr

It's a lion!!!

The lion goes to Lisa. And roars!

Lisa roars back! Grrrrrrr

 The lion thinks: 'She is just like me'!

Then they are friends. And they play together.

And they lived happily ever after.

Exposition Openateliers

This weekend we went to a exposition of a good friend of ours, Gerwin Krijnen.

His work was al made by hand and symbolized 'the caged bird.'
It was really nice to see him create again. Beautiful work!

Friends and pie...

I like to open this blog with an illustration that I made for my little niece.

She is two years old and really likes lions. 

So I made a cute story and it turned out to be a lovely little book.

This is my first blog, so I am pretty excited making this.
